Brooke Dwyer
Brooke Dwyer M.S. CCC-SLP, co-founder of BCST, is a speech-language pathologist who holds an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification of clinical competence (CCC-SLP), a speech-language pathology California state license (SLPAB), and a teaching credential. She received her Masters of Sciences degree in speech-language pathology, along with a reading specialist certification, at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary and special education from Providence College in Providence, RI.
Brooke has over 12 years of experience working with children of all ages in both school and home settings. Over the years in all her work settings, Brooke has planned and implemented therapy for children with language-based learning disabilities, cognitive communication and executive functioning impairments, autism spectrum disorders, speech sound disorders and fluency disorders. Through administering and interpreting assessments, she has identified the needs of her students, developed goals based on their needs, and created individualized therapy plans tailored to each student.
Brooke has a love for children and when she is not working she is a mother to three young children of her own. Brooke enjoys using her personal experiences as a mother and speech pathologist to help guide and educate BCST parents on integrating speech and language techniques into real life experiences.
